Ariana Grande’s charity concert to pay homage and provide aid to the victims of the horrific bombing attack on her Manchester concert, has raised enough funds to provide each affected family with a sum of $324K.
The “We Love Manchester Emergency Fun” gathered a total sum of $24.5 million, a major chunk of which has come from Grande’s tribute concert ‘One Love Manchester’ – which saw names like Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Justin Bieber among several others joining the 24 year old singer on-stage to pay homage to victims of the terrorist attack.
A total of 23 people lost their lives, and over 250 were injured, after 22 year old Salman Abedi – a suicide bomber, detonated an explosive device during the concert, leading to the devastating tragedy.
Speaking on the distribution of funds, Sue Murphy, the chairperson of the fund, told that they’re still looking into how to distribution to the remainder of the funds collection after the attacks.
