Simon Cowell is known to take it a bit too far with his comments every now and then and it seems like he’s done it again.
But this time, his comment did not get the better of the contestants but one of the fellow judges.
On AGT’s latest episode, Simon made a sleazy remark on fellow judge, Mel B’s rocky marriage with former hubby and it left him soaked in fizzy water.
After a highly disappointing performance by ‘escape artist’, Demian Aditya – Cowell compared the failed attempt to the former Spice Girl’s honeymoon. “I kind of imagine this would be like Mel B’s wedding night,” Cowell said.
A shocked Mel B, reacted instantly as she stood up and threw her glass of fizzy liquid on top of him. As she made her way out of the judges’ panel, storming out of the show, Cowell still continued to finish his sentence. “A lot of anticipation, not much promise or delivery,” he said.
Yikes!

This was bound to not go down with Mel, since she’s going through a bitter divorce with her estranged hubby, after a scandalous and very public separation.
“He should know, if you say something inappropriate he’s gonna get like, stuff thrown at him,” she later explained.
Mel B later had reconcile with Cowell for the rest of the performances of the show – obviously, because the show has to go on.
“I told him he was an asshole and that was it, and he goes, ‘Oh, whatever,'” she said.
