This heartwarming animated short movie about a gay crush is winning the internet

‘In A Heartbeat’ – a Kickstarter-funded animated short movie that concentrates on an innocent teenage crush of the same-gender, has gone immensely viral since being uploaded on the 31rst of July on YouTube.

Produced by Ringling College of Art and Design, the short flick has garnered over 18 million views in less than a week and is winning the heart of its viewers.

The movie concentrates on an adorable short story of a teenage boy who develops a crush on one of his school-mates. As his heart begins to race and literally ventures out of his body to follow his handsome crush, it leads to a brief moment of a belittling judgmental stare from other students – which ultimately causes the heart to break into two.
