An hour long telethon aimed to raise funds for the victims of the Hurricane Harvey tragedy in Houston, Texas has been announced and will feature some of the biggest names in Hollywood come together to build financial aid following the disaster.
Beyonce and Oprah Winfrey will be stepping in to participate in the TV special, entitled “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief,” – which will also feature names like Julia Roberts, George Clooney, among several others.
This is the latest joint venture by Hollywood that is going to generate the necessary financial assistance required for helping in the restoration of the state. Previously, several other celebs had announced individual donations to Red Cross and other charitable organizations that are working in aiding Harvey-affected areas.
The one hour Television fundraiser, will be broadcast on September 12th across a number of major networks like – ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and more.
