Chester Bennington’s Carpool Karaoke finally released after family’s approval

An episode of Carpool Karaoke shot less than a week before Chester Bennington’s untimely death, will finally see light of the day.

James Cordan, who had yet to release the episode, following the news of Bennington’s death on 20 July 2017, has finally released the episode after taking approval from the later singer’s family.

The 25 minute video uploaded on Linkin Park’s Facebook page, showcases the band covering a wide range of artists, including, OutKast, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith. The Bennington fronted Rock Band then takes on their own tracks, like ‘Numb’, ‘Talking To Myself’ and ‘In The End’

Towards the end of the video, a link to musicforrelief.org is shown – a relief fund established by the band under the name ‘One More Light’ to honor the memory of the late singer.

Chester died of suicide by hanging back on July 20th. The episode for Cordan’s Late Late show was shot merely 6 days prior to the incident.
