As Hollywood reacts to the shocking revelations of Hollywood mogul and high-end executive, Harvey Weinsten being outed as a long-term sex-offender, actor Terry Crews has come forward with claims of being molested by another big shot in front of his wife.
Sharing his experience on Twitter, Crews detailed how at a Hollywood function, only last year, the actor was groped by a “high level” executive, and simply “grinned” when he bounced back.
Crews also stated how he refrained from physically responding to the exec, featuring he might be jailed the next morning. “I was going to kick his ass right then — but I thought twice about how the whole thing would appear,” the actor wrote. “”Black man stomps out Hollywood Honco”” would be the headline the next day.”
The 49 year old actor revealed that the man did call him to apologize the next day, but did not explain why he did what he did.
Terry then stated how he empathized with the women who ‘let it go’ and refrain from coming out with their experiences as he too feared being ostracized by the powerful and influential.
“Who’s going 2 believe you?,” he wrote “What r the repercussions?(many) Do u want 2 work again? (Yes) R you prepared 2b ostracized?(No)(11/cont.)”
Crews signed off the thread writing:
“Hopefully, me coming forward with my story will deter a predator and encourage someone who feels hopeless.”
