Harvey Weinstein has been fired from The Weinstein Company and Jay Z is already seizing on the opportunity.

The hip-hop mogul and entrepreneur is said to be in talks with his team to buy Weinstein’s interests in The Weinstein Company, following the bombshell revelations of the movie big shot’s history of sexual assault against women.

According to sources, Weinstein’s 23% share in the company has aroused the interest of several movie producers and Jay is willing to invest on it too.

The 47 year old hip-hop legend has previously been associated with TWC for the six-part series ‘Time: The Kalief Browder Story’ and is now considering extending his association with the Weinstein company by purchasing Harvey’s stakes.

Harvey Weinstein was fired from TWC on October 8, after several Hollywood actresses accused him of sexual abuse and harassment, said to have taken place over the course of several years.

Too soon or ‘just in time’?
