Terror struck Las Vegas on Sunday night as one of the deadliest shootings in modern U.S. history took place during an ongoing music festival.
The simultaneous shots of gunfire were heard as thousands got down on the floor or tried to make an escape, in several videos shared on social media.
At least 58 people have been reported to be killed while over 500 have been injured, by the now identified shooter, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, who according to the police, fired the shots from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
Paddock was found dead when cops stormed into his room, where they also came across 9-10 more weapons with him.
Terrorist organization, ISIS, has claimed the responsibility of the attacks, stating the shooter had converted to Islam a couple of months ago, however the authorities have denied any connection with any international terrorist groups.
Police also attempted to establish a word with Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, but did not found any involvement from her part on the attacks.
Among those killed in the horrific incident, is also at least one off-duty police officer.
