Beyonce and Jay Z have already put their artistic forces to work in a joint album which apparently lays somewhere in the vaults now.

The speculations were rife a couple of years ago – about a possible hour-long collaboration between The Carter couple, but it was never confirmed by either of them nor did it ever see the light of the day.

The project, as it turns out, does indeed exists and was recorded by the superstar duo a couple of years ago – as confirmed by the Jay himself.

In an interview with NY Times, Jay threw some light on the never-released collaborative LP, which as he states – was to be released before Bey brought out – ‘Lemonade.’

Here is what he said:

“We were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together. And then the music she was making at that time was further along. So her album [‘Lemonade’] came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on. There was never a point where it was like, ‘I’m making this album.’ I was right there the entire time … It just felt like, she should go first and share her truths with the world.”

Now that it has been confirmed that the project does exist in the vaults, the only question which remains is – are there any chances of it seeing the light of the day?

We’re here for it!
