Shade or No Shade? Pink clears the air on her reaction to Xtina’s Whitney tribute at AMAs

Christina Aguilera had ‘the time of her life’ while tributing one her biggest inspirations, the late Whitney Houston, at the AMAs Sunday night.

Although, the audience present at the ceremony seemed to have made the most of her energetic medley of four songs in tribute to the legendary songstress and the 25th anniversary of her iconic Bodyguard soundtrack – internet was clearly divided on whether to love it or hate it.

The biggest shade of it all – was derived from Pink’s facial expressions as Xtina took the stage (with an apparent soar throat) – and the ‘Stupid Girls’ singer watched sitting at the audience. Gossip columns were quick to call it an expression of confusion and disapproval.

But then Pink being Pink, had to come out and clear the air herself on what she actually felt about the performance and called out people for trying to create drama out of nothing.

“Yes. THIS. Christina fucking killed it tonight for one of our favorite singers ever. This about Whitney, and I am in awe of Christina’s talent,” Pink clarified in her Tweet. “Show the clip where I’m in tears, you negative Nancy’s”

We believe Pink. That was our precise expression while watching Christina and we LOVED it.
