In a string of singers who have managed to yield a career out of mimicking each other’s singing styles, filled with not-so-musically-well thought-out vocal acrobats – Sade is one of the few artists who has managed to stand apart with her own unique style.
The celebrated distinct soul songstress, who has somehow kept herself away from the public limelight all these years, and is generally only seen and talked about – when the subject is that of her music – is back to the scene with a brand new song after a gap of nearly 7 years.
Entitled ‘Flower Of The Universe’ – the tune is to be featured on the upcoming fantasy drama, ‘Wrinkle In Time’ as announced by director Ava DuVernay on Twitter.
Sade’s last single ‘Still In Love With You’ came out back in the year 2011, so this ‘return’ with a brand new song makes us hopeful of a new full-fledged studio project!

‘Wrinkle In Time’ is a $100+ million budget sci-fi fantasy, which stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling in prominent roles.
The movie is set out for a release on March 9.
