Ciara was sent on an emotional roller-coaster ride, after a super-special mother’s day surprise from hubby, Russel Wilson and their kids.
The singer made an appearance on The View, to promote her new album, ‘Beauty Marks’ and was already up-in-her-feelings after revealing the music video for the title track, which features footage of her family and home.
But it was when the show’s hosts played a video of Russel with a ‘Mother’s Day’ wish for the performer – which he had apparently recorded at their home in Seattle, the singer was left to tears.
Here’s what he had to say in the video message:
“Hey C, I wish I was there with you right now. I know the kids and I, we’re back here in Seattle, we just wanted to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day. There’s no one better than you, you’re the sweetest woman in the world, you truly give us love, you truly give us light, you change the world, you make the world a better place, you encourage, you inspire and I’m grateful I get to be your husband. I just love you so much.”
The clipping also featured her kids, who had an adorable msg for their mommy:
“I love you, you’re the best mom and I love you so much, wherever you go, I still love you.”
Naturally, the performer couldn’t stop the tears streaming down her face.
