Shortly after the trailer-release of her new big-screen venture, ‘Hustlers’, Jennifer Lopez has grabbed yet another exciting flick in her kitty.
The actress and singer will now be seen portraying the infamous drug mafia queen, Griselda Blanco in an upcoming movie said to be based on her life.
Bringing the tale of the notorious female don to the big screen, the new venture entitled – ‘The Godmother’, will be based on the Columbian drug lord’s rise to the top of the game.
Speculations are also rife about JLo taking the director’s seat for this one, marking her directorial debut with a project she’s also ambitiously co-producing.
“She is all things we look for in a storytelling and dynamic characters – notorious, ambitious, conniving, chilling,” JLo was recently quoted as saying. “In a genre dominated by legendary kingpins, I’m eager to shine a spotlight on this anti-hero”
