To kick away your mid-week blues, the first trailer for Tom Hanks’ ‘A Beautiful Day In The Neighourbood’, featuring the actor playing the much-adored Fred Rogers (AKA Mister Rogers) is out.
Unveiled earlier on Monday, the biographical drama directed by Marielle Heller, mostly entails a journalist’s account of interviewing Rogers back in the day.
The beloved television icon, musician, puppeteer and minister whose popular show Roger’s Neighborhood ran for more than 3 decades, from 1968 to 2001 – became a part of many childhoods, with his charming, kind and generous personality leaving a mark on his viewers.
The biographical adaptation of the story, with Hanks playing the titular role, promises a just account of one of televisions most remembered folks, who passed away in 2003.
