Despite all the efforts being made by Lil Kim’s dedicated fan-base to ensure she gets a bombastic return to the charts with her latest offering, the Hip-Hop icon may still have to bite the dust.
As per early projections, Kim’s latest album – ‘Nine’ is projected to sell somewhere around ‘1,000’ copies in its debut week.
This basically means, Lil Kim won’t be able to crack even the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 albums chart.
This might also mark the lowest first-week entry by the legendary femcee, who has previously yielded hit records like ‘Hardcore’ and ‘The Notirious K.I.M.’
Let us hope with some hot singles planned ahead, the album gains the exposure it very much needs in the mainstream to at least by categorized as a long-term catalog seller.
