Are you already excited at the thought of Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson stepping in the shoes of the late Aretha Franklin for her upcoming biopic?
Well, hold on to your horses, coz there’s more reason for you to be be in a frenzy.
The Queen of Soul’s upcoming official biopic has now also got onboard, Queen of Hip-Hop/Rnb – Mary J. Blige in a pivotal role.
While it isn’t revealed, which role Mary would be reprising in the flick – or if she’d be making an appearance as herself, but the sight of seeing two powerhouses sharing screen-spaces would be certainly something.
Others who have been confirmed in the cast include people like – Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Titus Burgess, among several others.
The biopic is scheduled for a release next year in August.
