Lizzo Finally Ties With Iggy For ‘Longest Female #1 Rap Song’, After Jumping Back to the Top with ‘Truth Hurts’

You thought Lizzo’s Truth Hurt was done after being dethroned by Travis Scott’s new single this past week?

Well, you’d be wrong.

The funky, energetic performer’s breakthrough hit has ascended back to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, regaining the #1 position.

In doing so, it has now tied with Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ as ‘the longest #1 for a Female Rap Song’ – something Iggy was adamant upon not losing, after Twitter war between the two.

Both songs have now spent 7 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, during different intervals, and the next week will now be determinantal of whether Iggy still holds that record (even partially), or if Lizzy takes over and wears the crown.

This does still mean that Lizzo already holds the title for the longest running SOLO #1 by a female rapper, as Iggy’s ‘Fancy’ featured, Charlie XCX.
