Whitney Houston & Notorious B.I.G. Nominated For 2019 Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame

Whitney Houston is among the ‘first time’ nominees at the 2019 class of Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame.

The late and great diva has been nominated to be inducted into the prestigious hall of fame, for which she has been eligible for over a decade (since completing 25 years of her debut album release in 2010).

Another possible inductee for this year is Notorious B.I.G. aka Christopher Wallace – who’s also a first time nominee, among 15 other contenders including Houston.

Other first time nominees in this year’s class also include, Dave Matthews Band, Motörhead, Pat Benatar, the Doobie Brothers, Thin Lizzy, T. Rex and Soundgarden.



Funk diva Chaka Khan – who’s previously been nominated alongside her accompanying act – Rufus, returns this year along with Depeche Mode, Todd Rundgren, Nine Inch Nails, Judas Priest, Kraftwerk and MC5.

The aforementioned nominations will be sent over to 1000 artists and music industry peeps, who will cast their vote for their preferred choice as next year’s inductee.

Fans too can cast their vote till January by simply searching ‘Rock Hall Fan Vote’ or the name of any of the nominees on Google, or they could visit rockhall.com or the Hall of Fame museum in Cleveland to do the same.
