Although the fans of Whitney Houston are in for a treat with the executor the of the late singer’s estate offering an on-stage revival of the superstar’s music, with an upcoming Hologram tour planned to take the stage in Europe next year – many of them have called it a big ‘no-no’ due to the morbid nature of the project.
While there is a vast number of those fans who are rejoicing the fact that they’ll get to hear the voice of the legendary icon once again – as they get to venture out to a concert-like setting, there are also those who have called it a mere product of a money-making machinery.
But hey, isn’t everything that is put out in showbiz, invested into – with the sole purpose of generating money? It isn’t called the ‘music industry’, for nothing!
And if we get something in return, e.g., new music, footage, singles or albums – that weren’t released before, it just serves the purpose of adding on the the late icon’s extraordinary legacy.
While it may be far from being a full-fledged ‘Whitney Live’ experience, considering how unpredictable the singer was on-stage and how much she improvised each of her live-sets – showcasing her extraordinary musicality and interpretative genius, it still gives a glimpse to those who never got to hear that voice in a live setting.
Keeping that in mind…are you here for the new Hologram by Houston’s estate and management?
What do you expect from it?
