Just as we had suspected – after announcing that she’d be hosting this year’s American Music Awards, Ciara is confirmed as one of the performers at the 2019 ceremony too.
The ‘Level Up’ singer will be clubbing a performance or two in between her job as a host during this year’s ceremony, joining the likes of Taylor Swift, Lizzo and Camila Cabello as this year’s officially announced performers.
Although it does appear that her performance may not be showcased in the televised event, as it has been termed a ‘bonus’ performance for Xfinity customers only – but it does indicate that there might be a few other musical moments from Ciara as a host.
The news was announced by the AMA handle on Twitter:
There is only one way to get ready for the #AMAs! Before the show, @Xfinity customers can watch a BONUS performance from our host @Ciara by saying “American Music Awards” into their Voice Remote. It all starts Sunday, Nov. 24! pic.twitter.com/PlCXi1gwHx
