Lauryn Hill is back with a new studio song – well, kind of.
The celebrated femcee and musician has released her first song since 2015’s ‘Feeling Good’ and it is going to be featured on the upcoming soundtrack for ‘Queen & Slim.’
Entitled, ‘Guarding The Gates’ – it isn’t entirely ‘new’ though. The song has previously been heard in her concerts, but there hasn’t been an official studio release yet.
While her recent concerts have been marred with as much criticism for constant cancellations as they are celebrated for her iconic musicality, the performer may just be moving ahead with what fans have been craving from her for years.
A sign of some more music in the near future, perhaps?
