Official Michael Jackson Biopic in the Works From ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Producer

After a number of documentaries and films depicting his life that the estate of the late Michael Jackson had an issue with, they have planned to tell a story – approved and sanctioned by them.

In a first – the late King of Pop’s estate is gearing to bring an ‘estate-approved’ version of his story to the big screen, and it is going to be helmed by none other than the producers of the award-winning, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’

Graham King – who produced the acclaimed Freddie Mercury biopic last year has struck a deal with Jackson’s estate for a tell-all about his life. Weather or not it would feature elements involving his sexual-abuse accusers, would be a different story. We’ll find out about that soon.

Presently, the screenwriter of movies like – “Gladiator” and “The Aviator”, John Logan has been roped-in for the project. So going by the initial billing, it does seem they are aiming for something that is going to win over film critics, for sure.

The most interesting thing to unfold out of this would be – who would be chosen to play the titular role of MJ?

They’d certainly have to be careful with that one, to ensure it doesn’t fall into caricature or mimicry – considering the number of MJ impersonators that are out there.

Either way… are you here for it?
