Alicia Keys and Billie Eilish took the stage on The Late Late Show, for an unlikely pairing.
Keys filled-in for James Corden during the show and got to invite a number of musical guests to take the stage with her. But it was her performance with Eilish that caught our attention.
Keys and Eilish performed the latter’s 2016-released single, ‘Ocean Eyes’ – giving a stunning twist to the synth Pop tune.
Billie Eilish had released the track through Interscope records, when she was very much in her early teens. She is 17 now, and has received more mainstream recognition than ever before – with 7 Grammy nominations under her belt.
Keys on the other hand, is a pro to the game and is gearing for the release of her 7th studio album in 2020, alongside her preps to host the upcoming Grammys where Eilish has scored the most number of nominations.
These two together – totally soared with this unexpected performance.
