Bill Cosby’s Publicist Calls Eddie Murphy ‘Hollywood Slave’ After His SNL Jokes on Cosby!

Eddie Murphy made his return to the stage of Saturday Night Live after several years and it was a celebratory moment for his fans and fellow comedians and hosts.

But it seems someone isn’t too happy about his monologue from the show. And that someone is Bill Cosby (and his representatives).

Here’s the Cosby mentioned that upsetted the convicted 82 year old actor:

“My kids are pretty much my whole life now. If you told me 30 years ago that I’d be this boring stay-at-home house dad and Bill Cosby would be in jail, even I wouldn’t have took that bet.”

Eddie then mimicked Cosby’s speaking style to say:

“Who is America’s dad now?”

Responding to the whole mention, Cosby’s publicist Andrew Wyatt has left a public statement, calling Murphy a ‘Hollywood slave’.

Here’s what he has said:

“Mr. Cosby became the first Black to win an Emmy for his role in I Spy and Mr. Cosby broke color barriers in the Entertainment Industry, so that Blacks like Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappell, Kevin Hart and et al., could have an opportunity to showcase their talents for many generations to come. It is sad that Mr. Murphy would take this glorious moment of returning to SNL and make disparaging remarks against Mr. Cosby.”

He further added:

“One would think that Mr. Murphy was given his freedom to leave the plantation, so that he could make his own decisions; but he decided to sell himself back to being a Hollywood Slave. Stepin Fetchit plus cooning equals the destruction of Black Men in Hollywood.”

Eddie has not responded to this yet.

Does he need to though?
