Mariah Carey Earns Historic 19th #1 As ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Tops Billboard Charts

Mariah Carey has done it.

All the extravagant promo and efforts by the diva has payed-off as her eternal Holiday-classic, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has peaked the Billboard Hot 100 charts – 25 years after its release.

The song – which gained a ‘classic status’ over the years, being an original from Carey and featured on her 1994 released Christmas album, turned into a catalog seller for the songstress.

It was in the recent years, however, the song saw sudden resurgence on the mainstream charts – around Christmas, apparently helped by the aggressive campaign driven by Carey’s team and of coarse, her devoted fan-base.

Registering her 19th #1 on the Billboards Hot 100 charts and her first since 2008’s ‘Touch My Body’, this certainly marks an early ‘X-mas gift’ for Carey.
