Whoopie Goldberg let Meghan McCain have it during a recent airing of The View.
In the midst of a heated argument about U.S. prez Donald Trump’s impeachment hearings, McCain interrupted fellow co-host Sunny Hostin – while she was trying to make a point about how Senators are acting differently with Trump’s impeachment as compared to how they acted during the impeachment of Bill Clinton – and that apparently did not go down well with Goldberg.
Putting a stop to what McCain was saying, expressing her displeasure over talking over other hosts, Whoopie simply asked Meghan to ‘stop talking’ before she cut to commercial.
“My job here is not to litigate the ethics of it,” Meghan started, cutting off Sunny. “I’m an ABC political analyst along with being a ‘View’ cohost. My job is to analyze the politics of it and …”
Stepping into the exchange in the middle, Whoopie exclaimed – ‘Here’s what’s happening now’, while Meghan continued to speak.
“Girl, please stop talking,” Whoopi went after Meghan, “Please stop talking right now.”
“No problem. I won’t talk for the rest of the show,” Meghan responded after complaining that they won’t let a conservative opinion be heard on the table, to which Whoopi replied – “I’m okay with that, if you’re going to behave like this.”
