Things are looking up for Billie Eilish.
The 18 year old singer and performer has landed herself a major deal, by being chosen to sing the next theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie.
The song is called – ‘No Time To Die’, and Eilish will put her trademark swing to the same.
The news was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of the James Bond franchise, with the following statement:
“The #NoTimeToDie title song will be performed by @billieeilish. Billie has written the song with her brother @finneas and is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.”
At her age, it certainly sounds like a major break as the last two Bond songs by Adele and Sam Smith, respectively, were major critical successes – earning each of the performers, an Academy award for ‘Best Original Song.’
Will Eilish be able to follow the lead with her contribution to the 007 soundtrack?
