Celine Dion has had to say some hard goodbye’s in the recent years – after the death of her long-time husband, René Angélil and her brother Daniel.
Now the singer’s 92 year old mother, Thérèse, has too succumbed to old age and passed away.
It was only 6 months ago, when Celine’s sister Claudette had spoken about their mother’s frail health.
Soon after the news broke about the passing of Maman Dion (as she was affectionately called), the singing sensation took to her Instagram to share an old family photo with the following caption as a tribute:
“Maman, we love you so much…
We dedicate tonight’s show to you and I’ll sing to you with all my heart. Love, Céline xx… .”
