It was an emotional roller-coaster as the who’s who of Tinseltown gathered to pay tribute to the recently deceased Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.
The likes of Jennifer Lopez, Michael Jordan, Jimmy Kimmel, Alex Rodriguez and several others were in attendance at Staples Center yesterday, as they all paid their respects to the father-daughter duo, while also passing their concordances to Bryant’s wife Vanessa Laine and their kids, who were in attendance.
Among the biggest performers of the night were Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and Alicia Keys – who all brought the thousands of attendees to tears with their stunning tributes.
While Aguilera sang a sweeping, heartfelt version of Ave Maria, Beyonce paid homage to her friend with performances of ‘Halo’ and ‘Xo’. Alicia Keys also layed-it-down on her piano, working the keys playing Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, which held a special meaning for Bryant.
