First Trailer: Whitney Houston Hologram Promises Never Before Heard Live Vocals

After a couple of glimpses, here and there, the first proper and official trailer of Whitney Houston’s upcoming hologram tour has been unveiled by her estate.

While the idea of a hologram of a deceased artist may sound morbid and may have received mixed reactions online, the show, on the other hand, promises to be an out and out celebratory night of Whitney Houston’s music.

The new trailer also highlights the fact that the shows will feature never-before-heard live vocals and performances from the late diva – perhaps fulfilling the wishes of those fans, who had been craving for something, other than the already-heard studio recordings and live performances.

Going by the little sneak-peak given through this teaser, it no doubt looks like a promising and super-entertaining visual treat.

Check it out for yourself:

Put together in collaboration with Base Holograms, the show will attempt to recreate the magic of Whitney Houston through digital imagery, celebrating a number of her classics in a concert-format.

While we have previously seen a few holograms of high-profile celebrities – a la, Michael Jackson and Tupac, it would be the first time a hologram of a star of Whitney’s stature, would be hitting the road for an extensive tour.

To make the performances more ‘lively’, the 3D digital figure, mimicking Whitney, will be accompanied by live-performing background singers and dancers, giving you enough reason to jam-along.

We’re totally sold!
