Rose McGowan Says She Fears Harvey Weinstein Will ‘Hire A Hitman’ To Kill Her

Rose McGowan and Harvey Weinstein – the two names who were prime catalysts to the whole ‘me-too’ movement, are coming face to face again.

In a recent interview with Good Morning Britain, McGowan expressed her trauma relating to her past experiences and also her fear that Weinstein may be plotting to kill her.

A visibly distressed McGowan spoke about being one of the first women who had spoken out about past sexual misconduct by the hands of the movie mogul, and how it led to his eventual conviction earlier this month.

But the thoughts of Harvey ‘getting back on her’ with revenge, are still haunting her, the 46 year old actress says.

“The other night, I have to be honest, I was sitting at home and I was thinking I should do the laundry and then I thought, ‘Oh, I wonder if he gets convicted he’ll hire a hitman to kill me,’” she was quoted telling.

“These are just casual thoughts of my life and that’s what’s so wrong and sick.”

Weinstein was convicted by a New York jury on two counts of the five charges levelled against him, earlier this week.

The first charge was of criminal sexual assault in the first degree, while the second was of rape in the third degree.

He now faces upto 25 year of imprisonment.
