Earlier this week, internet was abuzz with rumours revolving around Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty.
As the ace rapper changed her social media handle name from ‘Mrs. Petty’ to ‘Yikes’, her fans couldn’t help but wonder if there was trouble in paradise.
The grapevine also stated that one of Kenneth’s friends hinted that the couple had apparently dissolved their marriage, but if the speculations only arise from the change in the social media name – then it would be a quite a reach.
Minaj had changed her social media handles to ‘Mrs. Petty’ soon after she exchanged rings with Kenneth Petty, and as she preps for different projects and professional endeavours, she is bound to keep on changing her social media accordingly.
Pressing on the same, a source close to Minaj was quoted telling the following to Page Six:
“Nicki Minaj is still with her man. It’s just business as usual for her highness as she prepares to release new music.”
Smoke without any fire. At least, that’s what we’d like to believe until we hear from the two of them.
