In one of the most inevitable of verzuz battles yet, Monica and Brandy have been aligned for the latest instalment of Timbaland and Swizz Beatz’s Verzuz series.
Launched earlier in March, the ‘battle’ of sorts features similar musicians being compared and contrasted against each other, with the biggest hits of their respective careers.
The RnB duo will appear on a livestream, which is set to air on Monday 31 August, 8pm EST, just the thought of which has sent their fans into a frenzy.
Brandy and Monica have already had their share of up’s and down’s, with their “much talked about” rivalry and unsettled-beef, going back to the time of their 90’s hit, The Boy Is Mine.
This new virtual head-to-head, will be a delight to watch, especially for those who love the 90’s and early 2000’s RnB sound.
