Mariah Carey’s still got the chops – as proven on her recent showing on Good Morning America.
The ‘We Belong Together’ chart-smasher appeared for a virtual concert on the show’s recent airing and performed the classic – ‘Vision Of Love’ – her first #1 single on Billboard Hot 100 from way back when.
The occasion?
Well, 2020 marks 30 years since Mariah’s debut LP hit the shelves and turned her into an overnight star back in 1990.
With ‘Vision Of Love’ serving as the lead single and the first chart-topper of her career, the song clearly has a special place for her and her fans.
The diva came prepared with a well-rehearsed take on her vocal-juggernaut-of-a-song and seemed to have perfectly nailed it without slipping at any point, for a sensational showcase of her belting abilities.

The singer also did an extra, mini-performance of her hit song ‘Close My Eyes’ from 1997.
After all the criticism that came her way in the recent years, for not being able to sing the way she used to or resorting to lip-syncing, Mariah seems to have come back with full force to prove – that she’s still got the chops (at least on her best days).
