In case you didn’t know – Belinda Davids – who’s one of the most renowned tribute-acts of the late and great Whitney Houston, is presently competing in the Britain’s Got Talent season 14.
Davids – who’s quite a powerhouse vocalist in her own right, has garnered internet’s attention with her latest rendition of the late diva’s iconic signature ballad – ‘I Have Nothing’, as performed on the show’s semi-finale.
The response to the singer’s performance could be read on the faces of judges – Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, as she belted out the Oscar nominated hit single from the 1992-released film and soundtrack – The Bodyguard.
Even the red outfit she wore resembled Houston’s ensemble from her 1993 performance of the same song from Billboard Music Awards, and so did a lot of the singer’s notes.
Davids certainly did her homework, earning a standing ovation from the judges for her act.
