What in Tarnation Was That? Whitney Houston’s Weird-Sounding Hologram Appears on FilmOn TV

Whitney Houston’s holographic tour had to be put on pause due to the ongoing pandemic, but that isn’t stopping the makers from using it elsewhere – even if they have to do it without the approval of her estate.

The late diva’s “digital image” lookalike appeared on FilmOn TV network, making a surprise appearance along side some other holograms of artists like – Billie Holiday and Michael Jackson.

Interestingly, it is being reported that Houston’s hologram appeared on the show without the approval of the singer’s estate, drawing criticism from her fans.

The brief appearance just featured her delivering a monologue, with a voiceover artist ‘attempting to imitate’ her speaking style and tone, but sounding super-weird in the process.

Watch it below:

The “variety show” was spearheaded by producer Scott Storch, who partnered with Hologram USA – which was responsible for curating the holographic image for Houston and some other deceased artsits.

It is further being reported that Houston’s estate is now looking at the legal options that they can take against the unapproved usage of her image.
