Cardi B gave it right back to an audience member who crossed their boundaries by throwing a drink at the rapper while she was on-stage, performing.
The ‘WAP’ hitmaker was all dressed-up for the occasion and was performing her hit ‘Bodak Yellow,’ when she approached the corner of the stage near the audience, which is when a fan hurled their drink all over her.
This drew an instant reaction from an angered Cardi who retaliated by throwing her mic at the fan, which is when security intervened between the two before things could escalate any further.
Cardi was visibly angry at the fan and was seen mouthing expletives at the audience member while she was covered by security.

This isn’t the first case in which performers have been attacked by audience members in the recent past.
Singers like Harry Styles, Drake, Bebe Rexha, and Ava Max, to name a few, have been victims to similar behavior recently, which has raised concerns about the security of performers at live events.
But Cardi’s prompt reaction may now give fans a warning as why not to mess with the wrong person.
