Rihanna is a gift that continues to give – more ways than you’d expect.
As the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic continues to be on the rise, the pop culture icon has pledged to purchase US$700,000 worth of ventilators for her home country Barbados.
As you might know, ventilators are of primary importance for the treatment of the deadly disease, as it mostly affects the respiratory systems. And with the continual rise in the number of cases being infected by the virus, there’s certainly going to be a dearth of medical facilities worldover.
The news was announced by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley herself:

Rihanna’s step at a time like this, is certainly more than welcome.
Let us hope, more well-abled people like her, decide to contribute in this time of need.
