Wedding Bells: Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons marries boyfriend Todd Spiewak

Jim Parsons, the star of Big Bang Theory who rose to popularity playing the character of ‘Sheldon’ on the hit CBS show, has married his long-time boyfriend of over 14 years, art-director Todd Spiewak.

The 44 year old actor married his partner in a small ceremony at the Rainbow Room in New York, on Saturday, 14 May.

Back in November, Parson posted a throwback image on Instagram celebrating fourteen years of being together with Spiewak as he wrote, “I met this guy (the one with the mic) 14 years ago today and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest. One of his greatest gifts to me is that he no longer takes me to sing karaoke. Also, I believe this was a selfie with an actual camera, as our phones couldn’t do that back then hahaha!”

Parson had first come out publicly with his sexuality back in 2012, in an interview with New York Times where he also disclosed being in a 10 year relationship with Todd.

Later in an interview in 2013, Parson described his relationship as “an act of love, coffee in the morning, going to work, washing the clothes, taking the dogs out—a regular life, boring love”.

Parson’s rep has confirmed that the nuptials took place on Saturday.
