November 17th marked the 25th anniversary of Whitney’s iconic The Bodyguard soundtrack album, which turned an already record-shattering superstar into an icon of unparalleled stature.

To commemorate the occasion, Houston’s estate released “I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard” – an album filled with never-heard-before recordings from the studio session, comprising of alternate takes of her classics and unreleased live performances from the accompanying world tour.

The interesting thing about Whitney’s live performances was that she constantly improvised and played around with the melodies, making each performance feel like a unique song on their own. The album showcases that very essence of her artistry and much more.

Considering Nippy (as she was lovingly called by family and fans), has one of the strongest online fan-communities, Twitter reactions had to pour-in in abundance, following the release.
