Always expect the unexpected from Celine Dion.
The Grammy winning power-balladeer got quite a shock when a drunk female fan climbed up on stage during her recent show.
Although most stars freak out by being so close to over-zealous fans (and reasonably so), the Canadian diva handled it like a pro as she tried to tame down the overtly “touchy” woman like a wild horse.
While Dion’s security people did jump-in to the rescue, the woman protested when they touched her to escort her off the stage – which is when Celine took command of the situation and started talking about a few little ‘sweet-nothings’, slowing leading her off the stage.
“Let me tell you something,” Dion said to the woman. “I’m glad you came up on stage tonight. I know you just wanted to come closer to me. But you know what, I’m glad you came closer.”
When the woman, who apparently looked way beyond her senses, started getting defensive as Celine’s security personnel tried to get close to her, the diva tried to convince her that they were actually her ‘friends’ and meant no harm.
The woman then finally made her way out of the stage (with the help of the security staff, after all) and Dion thanked her audience for their patience.
“Some people go through a lot. And some people need to talk. And I want to say thank you to all of you. Because for maybe five minutes we have given this lady a moment to talk. And we heard you. And gentlemen thank you. You’ve done what you were supposed to do. I appreciate it very, very much. Thank you so much for your patience tonight.”

Cringe level: TOO DAMN HIGH!
Kudos to miss Celine Dion for handling the whole thing with such composure, but TBH we’d have been pretty freaked out by having a stranger literally clinging so close.
