Tina Turner To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at 2018 Grammys

Tina Tuner is gonna get her dues paid at the 2018 Grammys.

The legendary diva of Rock n Roll will be honored with a lifetime achievement award at the 60th annual celebration by the recording academy.

Turner’s iconic career and legacy, which has lasted more than 6 decades will be celebrated for its sheer impact in the world of music – a talent which has inspired the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson, Kelly Rowland – to name a few.

But miss Turner is not the only musical icon who has been chosen to be honored at the ceremony.

According to the announcement made by the recording academy reps, other honorees in this year’s batch includes names like – Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris and the legendary Rock band – Queen.

“These exceptionally inspiring figures are being honored as legendary performers, creative architects, and technical visionaries. Their outstanding accomplishments and passion for their craft have created a timeless legacy,” said Recording Academy President and CEO, Neil Portnow.



The 2018 Grammy awards will be held at Madison Square Garden in NYC and will air live on January 28th.

Confirmed lineup of performers include – Childish Gambino, Little Big Town, Lady Gaga and Pink.
