Beyonce’s stunning new cover of ‘Before I Let Go’ – as featured on her latest offering, ‘Homecoming’, has managed to enter the Billboard Hot 100 a few days after its unveiling.
Originally recorded in the 80’s by Frankie Beverly and Maze, the track has debuted at #75 on Billboard – registering her 60th entry on the singles charts, putting her in the fourth spot among females with most Hot 100 entries.
At present rap-queen Nicki Minaj sits at the top spot with an unbeatable 102 Hot 100 entries, followed by Taylor Swift – who has 78 and the late and great Aretha Franklin, who has had 73 entries in her long and illustrious career.
With this 60th Hot 100 entry to her name, the list of hits on Bey’s catalog keeps on getting richer and bigger.
