It seems ‘remakes’ are the ‘in’ thing in Hollywood and its going to remain that way for a while.
After Ariana Grande and John Legend remade Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson’s ‘Beauty & The Beast’ for the live-action remake of the classic, Beyonce and Donald Glover have reprised Elton John’s Oscar winning classic for their new remake of ‘The Lion King.’
Knowles, who’s reprising the role of Nala and Glover, who’s voicing for grown Simba, have lent their voices to the classic romantic ballad and its all sorts of beautiful.
While Sir John’s version will always be closer to our hearts, for the memories the time and era hold, Bey and Gambino certainly do beautiful justice to it.

Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Walt Disney Pictures, the live action remake of the the all-time favorite animated classic, will be put to test on July 19, 2019.
