In a shocking incident of negligence, a woman engaging in a brawl outside a store has been charged with murder, after dropping her infant son during the fight.
26 year old Karen Harrison, got involved in a physical altercation with Terra Brown, in the parking lot of a beauty product store in Moultrie, Georgia.
The surveillance video shows Harrison approaching Brown, and getting into an argument with her, following which the latter swings a shopping bag at Harrison, causing her to stumble and drop her baby to the ground.
The two women resume fighting, as the infant lays on the ground unattended, until a passerby picks him up.
Harrison later took her son to the hospital and claimed he had fallen from her hand in their house the day before. Further police investigations led the officers to the surveillance footage and both women were arrested.
Karen Harrison has now been charged with felony murder among 3 other counts.
