A Florida based woman has been arrested by law officials for attempting to kill her 6 month old baby, by strangling her with an intent to kill.
Ailenys Carmenate has been arrested in account of the above-stated incident, as she tried to choke the baby at her house in a harrowing incident.
Carmenate was then fought by her other kids, who tried to ward her off as she forced herself on the baby. The woman’s 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter, bit her arms, pulled her hair and kicked her – in an attempt to save their baby sister.
Ailenys tried to kill the baby in a room “by pressing her elbow against the victim’s throat,” says the police.
After hearing the cries of the children, the baby’s father and uncle rushed to the spot to save her from the mother’s wrath.
As the father attempted to pull her back, the baby fell down to the floor, suffering a head injury. According to police reports, Ailenys wasn’t done yet, as she then tried to strangle her son – but he managed to escape.
Carmenate faces two counts of attempted premeditated murder, as well as kidnapping and child abuse charges, while the judge in her bond hearing, asked her not have any contact with any of her children anymore.
