Iggy Azalea Urges Fans To Dethrone Lizzo From #1, After Apparent Shade!

Iggy Azalea has had it with Lizzo.

After Billboard announced the possibility of the breakthrough rapper and singer breaking Azalea’s record of the longest running unassisted #1 rap song by a female, things have not been going that well between the fans of the two.

Lizzo’s ‘Truth Hurts’ is on its 5th consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts, on the brink of dethroning Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ – which spent a total of 7 weeks on top of the Billboard charts.

But before the week concludes, Lizzo gave a shoutout to the song mentioning on Charlie XCX and leaving out Iggy – who was the primary act in the song.

“Fancy is a BOP and my homie @charli_xcx is genius on it (STREAM CHARLI-HER NEW ALBUM NOW)” – she wrote.

Now was that a deliberate shade?

Iggy thinks so.

The rapper then took to Twitter to write:

“I could have SWORN I was the one rapping the song but okay…”

Azalea then got on board the petty train, urging her fans to stream Shawn Mendes’ Senorita – which presently sits at #2 – to help it dethrone Lizzo from the top spot.

She even changed the name of her Twitter handle to include ‘Stream Senorita’ on it.

While the fans of the two artists are ‘at it’ with each other, Lizzo hasn’t responded to the clap-back.
