Unearthing a previously released Holiday classic by Whitney Houston, the late singer’s estate has released a brand new single from the diva, beyond the grave.
‘Do You Hear What I Hear?’ – previously released in the 1987 released holiday album, ‘A Very Special Christmas’ – has been given a brand new treatment, by the Grammy winning a capella group – Pentatonix.
Featured as the lead single in the group’s upcoming Christmas album, the new collaboration has taken the isolated vocal track of Houston’s powerful recording of the song and given it their own signature twist.
While the song was already a timeless tune as is, and recurred on the annual Holiday charts almost every year, will the new release help solidify something stronger?
