What a grand way to make a comeback to the charts, with your old classic.
Toni Braxton’s stellar vocal showing at the recent American Music Awards, turned out to be one of the biggest highlights of the event – despite there being several headlining moments.
The songstress’ return to the AMA stage – 25 years after she first appeared on it, was received positively, as she belted out her Billboard chart-topping smash – ‘Un-Break My Heart.’
The RnB legend’s performance was one of the most talked about from the ceremony, which quickly resulted into the song re-surging back on the charts.
The 1996 released power-ballad, written and produced by the hit-churning duo – Diane Warren and David Foster, saw itself on the top of the US RnB ITunes charts – and it was all thanks to that stunning performance by Toni.
Would be interesting to see how the song fares by the end of the week on the Billboard charts.
Either way, it is great to see one of our childhood divas still continuing to kill it.
