Wendy Williams on Taylor Swift’s ‘Artist Of The Decade’ Win – ‘Taste Has Cheapened Through the Years’

Wendy Williams isn’t here for Taylor Swift being awarded the – ‘Artist Of The Decade’ title at the 2019 American Music awards.

The talk show host had a little something to comment about the latest feather added to Swift’s already coveted hat, soon after the show aired.

Bringing up the subject on her next day’s show, Williams said – “Taylor Swift made history, which is like unbelievable to me.”

She further continued – “And so, good for her. She won 6 awards, now she has a total of 29 awards. That sounds unbelievable, but what sounds unforgivable, she’s got more awards than Michael Jackson!”

Wendy was apparently hinting at Swift breaking the record of ‘most AMAs won by an artist’, that was previously held by Michael Jackson.

On the ‘Artist Of The Decade’ selection, she further ranted:

“And Artist of the Decade?! Is she who’s been firing you up for the last 10 years?! But you know what? I think that taste has cheapened through the years in a lot of things. The quality of clothes we buy, they get tattered and torn real quick. The quality of food we buy, we’re being poisoned by a lot of crap. Just life in general I think has cheapened and I don’t mean this in a bad way to Taylor, but it’s unbelievable … I appreciate her, but Artist of the Decade?”
